Glamour is not something you have. It is something you perform, and something that is performed onto you.

The Glam series examines the construction of femininity within the logic of display. The figures borrow their visual language from advertising and cinema, they appear confident, self-aware, composed. But they are also framed by the aesthetics of spectacle, positioned within systems of attention that existed long before they arrived.

The body here is both subject and surface. Metallic grounds and carefully staged gestures reflect the mechanisms of visual culture back at the viewer, the way certain images demand to be looked at, and the way that demand is built.

Some figures return the gaze. Some do not. That difference is the work.
